Durau spa is situated in Neamt county, at 780-800 m altitude, at 9 km from Izvorul Muntelui accumulation lake on the Bicaz river, in a sunny glade, on slope north-west of Ceahlau Mountains (East-Oriental Carpathians). The fauna, in surrounded woods, is very rich (carpathian stag, brown bear, wild boar, black goat), the spa is named too “Hunters’ Paradise” being the ideal place for organized huntings. The spa is recommended for rest, winter sports on ski pistes, treatments (different neurosises, weakness state, anemia, recovering after mind or intelectual efforts etc.).
